Number One Goal for DECA:
I want to create a mentorship program where we can have our new members connect with established members to make sure that everyone can have the most impactful DECA journey possible.

A Bit About Me
Hello DECA Family! My name is Emma York and I attend Sunrise Mountain High School. My biggest fear is being bored, so I am always doing something. My school life is filled with being a part of 7 school activities. Over my 3 years of high school, I have been a part of Student Council, Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG), Christan Club on Campus, National Honors Society, Badminton, Softball, and of course my favorite, DECA. Outside of school, my time is filled with serving the Lord. Every Saturday, I am a youth leader for 8th grade girls. Every Sunday, I am soaking in the most worship I can at my church service. DECA has had a massive impact in my life helping me find a family that I longed for, the knowledge of diversity I was seeking, and it gave me a passion I could pursue deeply. I hope to bring everything DECA has taught me into whatever career that I chase after.
