Number One Goal for DECA:

My number one goal is to replace monetary prizes for competition winners with valuable opportunities to shadow or intern at companies in their desired fields. Instead of awarding money, we can create meaningful career experiences by partnering with companies and industries that offer job opportunities for high school students. We will reach out to these companies to explore the various roles they can provide. Our approach will involve first educating these corporations about DECA and its benefits, and then demonstrating why our winners are deserving of internships or shadowing opportunities at their companies. By focusing on these experiential rewards instead of financial ones, we can provide greater benefits for all AZ DECA winners at State.

A Bit About Me

Hello Arizona DECA, my name is Aris Rajwani, and I am so excited to serve as one of your State Officers. In my free time, I love playing the drums, playing basketball with my friends, and listening to music; my favorite artist is Don Toliver. I also work at Mathnasium which is always a blast. I am currently a senior at Pinnacle High School and plan to study either business or law. As your State Officer, I will work to ensure all chapters are supported and all of our members feel included in our Arizona DECA fam.
