Number One Goal for DECA:
My goal is to grow membership by at least 15% in the 2024-2025 school year and to raise over $12,000 in funds for Arizona DECA through business donations. We will achieve this by utilizing officer visits and providing recruitment resources to individual chapters, alongside actively seeking business partnerships and donations to support our initiatives.

A Bit About Me
Hello Arizona Deca! My name is Maximus Flores, and I am a senior at Barry Goldwater High School where I’ve participated in DECA for 4 years! On a day-to-day you'll probably catch me planning events for Student Government, fundraising for my DECA Chapter, or clocking in to work at T.J Maxx. Additionally, I love reading, binge watching, or obsessing over niche subjects! My favorite quote is “In real life I assure you, there is no such thing as algebra”-Fran Lebowitz, because she encapsulates the importance of putting work aside and embracing empathy and meaningful emotional connections with your community, which is exactly the mindset that I want to apply to DECA, and our growing membership this year!
